    Paint is cut

    I had clayed the surface and wiped it off
    Then I compound the surface using Ultimate Compound and saw that some of the paint from the sharp edges is cut

    I am sure that nothing is wrong with the Ultimate Compound

    To furthur explain the situation,

    I am.using rotary polisher.
    I am a newbie.
    For flat surfaces, i can get the job done.

    What are the rules in using rotary when encountering raised edges? Should i just use hands on those parts.

    Whatvare the rules when facing the edges. I have read some thread, it says we have to put more attention. What kind of movement is not allowed.

    Lastly how we should handel curvaceous body like 2000 nisan terano, the fender of porsche or vw beetle

    It would be very useful if someone can post a youtube regarding the above situation.
