  • Hello from Denmark

I am a new member from Copenhagen, Denmark.
Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.

I've been using Meguiars products for over 10 years, but i only very recently started reading up un "proper" procedures here in the forum.

My current car is white and i have been using "white wax" for a while and i am generally very pleased with it. However, my car is parked outside and i have been trying to increase the durability of the white wax by applying Ultimate Liquid Wax on top. After reading here in the forum, the order should be: sealant then wax. Did i mess up by applying white wax first and then the ULW?

Dan, Welcome to Meguiar's Online Forums.

    Meguiar's White Wax contains:
. Cleaners to brighten the paint
. SMAT (Small Micro Abrasive Technology) particles to correct minor paint scratches
. Combination of Carnuba Wax and Polymers for protection

When using both, you would want to use it to clean and correct the paint prior to Ultimate Liquid Wax.

For 2019 Meguiar's announced a new "All In One" product.
Here is a link to the Forum Introduction Article for the new Mequiar's "3 in 1 Wax".

It is also available in Denmark for 2019

Welcome to Meguiar's Online! I second Old Bear, if you wanted to stay with White Wax & Ultimate Liquid Wax, it would be best to apply Ultimate Liquid Wax last. You might also consider our new Hybrid Ceramic Wax as a final step.

Exactly what i was thinking. Next time i'm buying wax, i'll give the 3-in-1 wax a go. It may be a while though, as i stocked up on the "white wax" when i heard it was discontinued.

@ Nick Winn: That ceramic wax looks very interesting. And easy to apply. How is the durability?
