I have this issue on all of my exterior glass when it rains and it poses the worst problem at night. It dosn't matter if it's winter or summer I have to put the defrost heat on to help with it. Have you seen this and what can I do? It's become a safety issue. I tried clay, etc. I think it might have come from using a touchless car wash, but I have taken my other cars through the same wash without any issues. I did read that a discontinued product called No Touch GS8 Auto Glass Stripper is good for this. Has anyone tried it? Help with this is appreciated! Thank you!

Re: Glass film - stripes issue
No-touch is (was) a great product. A bit messy, but worked it did.
As to what to use now, give "Bar Tenders Friend" a try. It's available a most grocery stores.
There are probably other product out there, hope others will chime in with their ideas.

Re: Glass film - stripes issue
Using Clay on exterior glass will only remove bonded above surface contaminants present on the glass, so like others mentioned, "polishing" the glass is worth a try. As others mentioned, we have our Perfect Clarity Glass Care Kit, which includes our Perfect Clarity Glass Polishing Compound. You can also use an automotive paint compound, like our Ultimate Compound on the exterior glass as well, although, it is not going to work quite as well as our Perfect Clarity Glass Polishing Compound.Nick Winn
