I cant guarantee, but for me UP didn't nor M205. I have a MK4 variant (estate) with alot of texture plastic. You should be good, but as i said i won't promise anythingOriginally posted by ifadey View Post -

Although some polishes will not stain as bad as others, we do not have a dedicated polish at this time which we guarantee to not stain trim whatsoever.Nick Winn

One trick, i've learned (dunno if am just lucky) is to use detailer on the trim, before i polish. I did this before i found my way home to Meguiars products, but it could be a wayComment

I am not sure about detailer but trim protectant definitely works. Makes the plastic less absorbing and slippery.
I hate taping plastic trim before working on paint so I try to find products that don't stain plastic.Comment
