  • Honda Civic Scuffed Interior Restoration

I am new to the forum and actually to detailing and wanted to get some advice from all of you.

    Passenger Front https://ibb.co/HnCW78m

    Driver Side https://ibb.co/DtDRv8h

As you can see all the plastic is scuffed up for some reason, maybe its due to the heat and humidity from the car being in Malaysia.

I saw a video where they used a paint scraper for the plastic then added on a layer - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnWNOrdtYew

Should I do the same thing then apply a layer of Meguiars Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer?

Thank you all for your help in advance.

Welcome to MOL. They look like they could use a good restoration and repaint.

I would try to steam out the oils that ahave been left from your hand and arm. The steam would not hurt anything but will leave the area clean of all grease and dirt. I would start with that and if you need to repaint at least the area will be preped> Good luck
