    Hello
is it ok/safe/advisable to use the Ultimate wash and wax anywhere to clean first then apply an application of the ceramic spray wax?

Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax should be used during a traditional wash process which either involves a hose or pressure washer. If you have not seen below article, we would suggest taking a look:

How to use Meguiar's NEW Hybrid Ceramic Wax!

Feel free to follow up with further questions & we would be happy to help.

Personally, I wanted the ceramic wax as close as possible to the clear coat. So I used Meguiar HyperWash to wash, then clay, then ultimate compound, wash again, rinse, then sprayed horizontally a coat of ceramic wax, spread it with a towel, rinse, this time a sprayed the ceramic wax vertically then rinse.

I always use a shampoo that doesn't add any additive afterward, as least as possible, carpro reset is also a good choice.
