    • 1:3 (1 part water to 3 parts M799) = Clay Lubricant or Drying Aide
    • 1:1 (1 part water to 1 parts M799) = Boosted Quick Detailer / For Use in Sun

If they were both 1:3 dilutions you'd think that would only be one line item and not two as listed.

The official recommendation is as listed on label full strength & 1:3. If diluted at 1:1 you will start trading durability, gloss & slickness. Side note, also not officially recommended for a clay lubricant at 1:1 so overall, full strength & 1:3 is official recommendation.

For those who are wondering when M799 will be available in the 32oz. size. I picked up some in the 32oz. size from Detail Supply Plaza in Escondido, CA last Thursday. After the bottle I bought they had 5 bottles left. I haven't used it yet, but will soon as a drying agent when I wash my wrapped Miata and apply M27 afterwards.

Yes the 32 is in our Distribution Center now so should be able to start seeing it for sale at your favorite Meguiar's supplier.

    Nick

Does Bead Booster or Pro Hybrid Ceramic have good UV blockers in them?

All of our waxes/sealants provide protection from the elements, including the sun's UV, including PRO Hybrid Ceramic Bead Booster as this is an Sio2 based spray sealant.

Thank you for the reply. So they have uv blockers formulated in them? Or are you saying that because it has Sio2 that naturally it blocks uv rays?

I completely respect that. I think the company would do well in future product development to put some good money into actual paint quality type uv blockers. I love the products and the pro sealant and bead booster will probably be my primary source of protection with all my vehicles. But having black vehicles this is important to me. Turtle wax spray ceramic sealant has this built in. Hopefully your product development people are listening

I do love this product though. Did a full paint correction on my Lexus and camaro. I have my Tahoe fully wrapped in xpel and will seal that this fall. Month in on the car and it is holding up great. Did the pro sealant and bead booster. Gloss is excellent.

Just thinking out loud here, based on my response, it seems you are now assuming our waxes & sealants do not protect against UV, which is incorrect. Meguiar's waxes & sealants are engineered to protect against UV damage, as well as environmental hazards.

Re: Meguiar's M799 PRO Hybrid Ceramic Bead Booster

Not much discussion on this product.

I have it and only used it full strength a few times before the weather turned in the fall. So far I think this product adds a nice darkening affect to a vehicle. Gloss looks good, slickness is ok - nothing spectacular - but none of the SIO2 based products have great slickness. Self cleaning seems good. One of the cars I applied this to sat a long time in the garage collecting dust. It seems after a quick drive most of this just blew off the car and not much was left attracted to the car. Could be coincidence or could be the fact that this product does not attract dust.

I also experienced the hazing effect. Applied full strength to a coated vehicle. The product kept hazing up after wipe off. I was surprised to see the haze coming back after 2-3 separate final wipes. In the end the result was great. Perhaps I should dilute it a bit instead of using it full strength.

I plan on using it much more this spring/summer. How is everyone using and liking the product?
