That is a good question, I have not heard of such plans. Check out our new M799, we would imagine will be your new D156. Meguiar's M799 PRO Hybrid Ceramic Bead Booster

That seems like the detailer line of this:

Cant imagine very many people paying $100 for a gallon of 'bead booster.'

You would be surprised. If the product performs well and the fact that it is dilutable, then that will out way the cost.

Absolutely love that sprayer head. Turtle Wax was using it on their Ice line till this year, when they redesigned their packaging. Provides such a fine and consistent mist thats perfect for evenly applying a spray wax on a panel. Even without the reformulation just adding that sprayer to the bottle would have been a great upgrade to UQW.

How does your Ultimate quick detailer compare to this ? Which is better gloss, protection, ease of use? etc. Thanks!

Yes, AutoZone should be in the next few weeks, O'Reilly within the next 4 - 6 weeks, Walmart will be in late February.

The primary purpose of most all of our quik detailer sprays is for safe, light dust & fingerprint removal. The secondary purpose is their added features like gloss, water beading, protection, etc. So first off, Ultimate Quik Wax should be used on a clean surface. Also, Ultimate Quik Wax, or when comparing any quik detailer vs quik wax, the quik wax will have superior gloss & protection. As far as ease of use, most detail sprays will always have a slight advantage on ease of use, and specifically comparing Ultimate Quik Detailer vs Ultimate Quik Wax, this new version of our Ultimate Quik Detailer is crazy easy & a slick, quick application.

Any other details about UQW? Is the carrier new and improved or is the polymer tech improved orrrr both? Is the scent changed at all?

I actually prefer the sheeting effect from UQD (good old 129D) as compared to the beading of UQW and #16.

Not really any other information. Pretty much any characteristic you can think of has been improved.

Finally found the new upgraded UQW at Walmart. I gotta say it is easier to apply, hard to believe. Seems like after you spray it on and wipe it around that you don't need to go over it with another towel but boy is it slick. As an amateur not sure I have the eye to say it's glossier that the old UQW but it sure shines!

Is it okay to use on plastics like headlight covers, etc...

Yeah, headlights are fine, even the textured black plastic trim seems to do well with a wipe of the UQW.
