Re: Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax

So i guess no need for the ULW now? would be fun to try, but consider how slow Meguiars Sweden are to take in new stuff am lucky if i get to try it 2020

Question: Does it have a 24 hour cure time? I would love a wax that are ready to go the minute you put it on, not worry about any rain (i guess i answered myself there: HCW)

Please tell me this and other new Ceramic based LSP compare/contrast (in regards to how they look, how long they last, how well they protect) to the waxes selants we have been used to (meaning products ranging from Carnauba based like M26 to the more recent synethetic based products like NXT/Ultimate wax and Ultimate Fast Finish) ?

When comparing Ultimate Liquid Wax vs Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax, Ultimate Liquid Wax will likely still have superior gloss. Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax has great gloss, but is really all about protection & ease of use. Yes still 24 hour cure time, good question.

Yes, new Ceramic/SiO2 based LSP (Last Step Product). You can use it as your main source of protection or can always use in addition to a more traditional liquid or paste as a final topper(LSP).

This is now Meguiar's most advanced technology, longest lasting, most durable wax in our consumer line. With that said, it is difficult to provide specifics on length of durability because there are so many variables which can affect durability dramatically.

Yes, full cure time is 24 hours.

Would this be a base coat for the blue bottle Hybrid Ceramic Wax spray?

Might need a chart for what goes with what....

Yes absolutely the intention. Main source of protection would be new Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax, perfect maintenance products would be existing Hybrid Ceramic Wax (Spray) and the new Hybrid Ceramic Detailer.

I wonder why Meguiar’s Sweden are so slow and why they don’t make every product available here.

I'm looking forward to trying this product! Out of curiosity, some of these new products use the word "hybrid", what exactly is the meaning of that? Is it like half the new ceramic technology and half traditional wax technology?

Can you use this after claying with the new ceramic clay kit?

Cos they have to test and decide if they want to bring it in, which kinda *****. Normally i buy from "Cleanyourcar" to try new products out

Yes exactly, although not exact 50/50.

Yes although the main purpose of the Hybrid Ceramic Clay Kit is to do a quick & easy clay & protection from the hybrid ceramic detailer, but yes you could do that if you would like.
