Ideally you would want HCLW as your base as it has become the most durable consumer product.
And UW as a topper for gloss..
I'd stick with the hybrid ceramic detailer.
Would I be correct in saying Ultimate Liquid Wax would win for gloss and HCLW would win in durability?
Ok i topped off the ceramic wax over the ultimate liquid wax.
So i always for my paint correction be : clay, ultimate compound, utimate polish, blackfire sealant ( let that sit for 24hrs before buffing) and ultimate wax.
I stumbled onto the ceramic wax as i was surfing the web on my day off (FDNY EMT/Medic) in quarantine! (shout out to all CFRs and healthcare workers fighting this!)
I decided to layer the ceramic wax over the liquid wax as i had a long weekend.
ill post some pics but the vid in action is on my phone and ill try and see if i can find out how to upload. I only got IG : /

I would like to start using Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax (HCLW) as my main wax, but I have a (half-full) gallon of D115 that I usually use in between car washes as a waterless wash. Reading through the M27 discussion it appears that using D115 may interfere with HCLW's performance because D115 includes a wax. I have two questions:
1) Can I still use D115 as a waterless wash without interfering with HCLW?
2) If not, is diluted M799 the best thing to use as a waterless wash/wax? Is there a best ratio?
Thanks!!
I am very impressed with the Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax. I have been using Ultimate Liquid Wax for about the last ten years and loved it. Then when the Hybrid Ceramic Spray Wax came out, I tried that and loved it. I preferred it over the Ultimate Liquid Wax. And now I prefer the Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax over the Ceramic Spray Wax.
In terms of application, you can't see the product when you are applying it to the paint but that is not a big deal to me. When comparing it to Ultimate Liquid Wax, ULW goes across the paint like butter and is very easy to spread. The Ceramic Liquid Wax doesn't spread across the paint as easy as ULW but it is still easy to spread. And wiping it off from the paint is no problem.
I was very impressed with the shine of the Ceramic Liquid Wax. I was trying to think of the best way to describe it and I think that word is reflection. It's like the paint becomes a mirror and it looks great. The look is better than ULW in my opinion, some people have said ULW would produce a better look but I don't think so. I took a picture of my car after I applied the Ceramic Liquid Wax but it did not capture how it looked in person.
I applied it a month ago so I am not sure about the durability yet. I usually wash my car about once every two months. I do have birds poop on my car frequently and I have used a hose to rinse it and the poop came off right away. It came off easier compared to ULW and the Ceramic Spray.
The Ceramic Liquid Wax is now my go to product for protection. The paint still looks great after a month, up close you can see the dirt but if you are ten feet or more away, the car almost looks like it was just waxed/coated. Also, I am looking forward to trying the Ceramic Sealant next.
