  • Wet sanding with the DA?

Up to now I've only done it by hand using 1500 and 2000 grit followed by two passes with M105 on the DA and it turns out great. I picked up some 6 inch 1500, 2000 paper discs and a 3,000 Trizact disc. Anybody use the DA to wetsand? I know not to get near sharp creases and edges with the machine but for flat trunks, hoods, doors it would make work quicker and more uniform.

Yes, we are big proponents of D/A Sanding & foam interface discs (go between paper & machine for more cushioning), but typically do so with pneumatic D/A tools.
