Hi all,
Not sure if this is the correct spot or not for this question. But last year my clear coat started to haze up on the back panels of my camaro on both sides. It is in a relatively small area. I tried wet sanding the area and doing the basics that I would do for repairing minor scratches, but nothing seemed to correct the issue. The only thing that I did notice was that if I scratch away at some of the edges with my finger nail, it is like the hazy clear coat comes off and shiny paint is underneath.
I am not sure what the previous owner may have done to both of these spots, or if this was a cause from the sun or what...but hoping someone here might be able to give me some direction on how I might be able to repair this issue without resorting to having the area repainted.
I can email pictures to anyone who wants to see the damage. I just realized you can't upload photos here?
