    Which AIO/Cleaner Wax

    Hi everyone.

I want to know what AIO or Cleaner wax you would choose when giving a customers car a very quick (20min Max), going over. Doesn't matter if it's consumer, pro or the detailer line, I just want the best for a quick shine up, cleanse the paint and lay down some half decent protection. Are products like m66 dead? Or still recommended? Newer products in the line preferred? Not after so much correction if any but more just to improve the general look and feel of the paint.

    Thanks

    Buddy.

You can use something like D166 or the consumer 3 in 1.

Go with the Ultimate quick wax or the Ultimate quick detailer

I'll come out and say it. I love M66 Quick Detailer, its not just for cheap high volume details it really is an excellent AIO. Its great on its own, you can use it to clean up after correction compound. Its great for cleaning up soft black paint or any soft paint thats susceptible to marring. Like the name says its great for quick details but its also very versatile, easy to work with, beads water for at least 2 months in most cases, and its a bargain at under $30 a gallon. Most cars could benefit from a cleaner wax if theyre not getting a full detail and m66 is still an impressive one. Thats not to say that the newer smat AIO arent excellent, they can achieve even more correction while leaving behind a nice layer of protection. For taking out light swirls, increasing gloss, and laying down a decent layer of wax with a fast single run around the car with a DA do you really need more than m66 though?

    Hi Buddy,

I am assuming you are working by machine? If machine, which type, Dual Action Random Orbital Polisher, Dual Action Forced Rotation Polisher, Rotary Machine?

    Thanks everyone for the comments.

    Nick, Usually just DA.

I like the way you think Fastidiotus, that's why I was leaning torwards m66. Cheap, cleans the paint and lays down some good shine. I'm in Australia and m66 is $70 for a gallon so very cheap for the work needed. Where as d166 is around $120 for a gallon.

Thanks The guz, 3in1 isn't available here in Oz

Is M66 is the pro version of colourx?

I like Zaino AIO. Goes on easy and lasts a long time. I detail on the side and use it on customers daily drivers and it makes them look great and even better the customers love it. A little goes a long way and I use a DA to put on a thin even coat. Minor cleaning properties , No white residue and very easy to take off with a soft towel and love the sine Just my $0.02

    @buddy89 A couple of things.

How can you cover a full vehicle with an AIO in just 20 minutes with a DA? Spread wax? Possibly, yet to clean and do minor corrections in 20 minutes.

Being in California, many of us are thinking about the safety, and difficulties that our Down Under friends and folks are dealing with from the intense fires. Hoping your families and friends if needed, evacuate in very timely manor. Stay safe.

Thanks Old Bear. Fortunately we have not been effected, but very saddened to see the rest of the country burn.

Running around with an aio on the bigfoot is pretty quick. I'm not aiming for any correction, im utilising it purely to cleanse the paint, enhance the gloss and lay down protection. I spread the aio, and then with one medium speed pass I work it from left to right. Again, I'm not aiming for correction as I stated initially. If they want paint correction then it's extra.
