    Wet Sanding and Ultimate Compound

    Need to repair a couple of rock chips which, when filled, plan to wet sand them level with 2000 grit. Will a DA tool (the Meguiars DA that fits on the end of a drill) and the little red pad that comes with it, plus Ultimate Compound get the 2000 dulling effect out? I will follow it up with Ultimate Polish. Thanks.

    It should, but might take a couple passes.

    I've had success removing 1000 grit with it on a green hex pad on a medium paint hardness. Machine was a porter cable 7424xp
