  • What is Meguiar's equivalent of Interior "Cleaner"?

    Hi,

I believe Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer = Griot's Interior Detailer.

What is Meguiar's equivalent of Griot's Interior Cleaner?

    Thanks.

Welcome to Meguiar's Online. I am personally not familiar with that product so would be difficult to make an accurate recommendation. Apologies. I can tell you that our Quik Interior Detailer Cleaner is considered one of our "staples" around here; in short, it provides very light cleaning, is safe for interior clear plastics like audio/navigation screens, provides no added gloss, & offers UV protection.

      Hello Nick,

      Thank you!

Can you guide me please, if I want more cleaning power for interior than Quik Interior Detailer, what spray should I get?

      Thanks.

I would use a jug of the All Purpose Cleaner and a spray bottle. You can dilute it to different ratios to get different strengths.

The QID is good dusting on hard surfaces.

But the APC can be used on hard surfaces, as well as cloth, rubber, leather, etc, interior or exterior. You would want to be careful on touch screens and clear plastics though, which QID would be better for.

          Thanks.

Can the APC take out tea stains from carpet please?

I used Tuff Stuff but it didn't remove tea stains.

          Thanks

            Well, within reason...

Do you know what the stain is from?

It's from black tea with milk.

Hmm.. I cant say I have tried tea with it....

I'd hate to buy a big jug and then have it not work. If it is on the carpet, perhaps one of the dedicated carpet cleaners would make more sense, and in a smaller size.

Thanks. I've seen this product next to Tuff Stuff in the store. Since Tuff Stuff didn't work I hope this product is not similar
