Ultimate Waterless Wash & Wax and Wax/Sealant

    Hello all,

I'm kind of new to the DIY automotive detailing etc. so would like to get some help. I'm planning to use the Ultimate Waterless Wash & Wax (I live in an apartment so hose/pressure washer are not easy to employ). I understand this product leaves behind a wax coating to protect the paint. But I want to increase the protection, can I use a ceramic wax/natural wax or any other paint sealant immediately after using the Waterless Wash & Wax? Do I need to be mindful of anything other that the regular application method?

    Thanks!

    Hi crackjackx,

You can absolutely apply a coat of a more standard ceramic wax/natural wax as you mentioned directly after using our Ultimate Waterless Wash & Wax. The only extra thing to be mindful of is just to ensure you get the surface completely clean & free of any dirt, dust & road grime, aka "loose contaminants" before you start applying a coat of wax. Depending on what the vehicle has been exposed to, you may also consider using a clay bar if it is needed. It is important to remove any above surface contaminants prior to applying a coat of wax. More information on the clay process & how to evaluate if your vehicle should have it performed can be referenced in the video below:
