The next generation..

After 12 years and 225,000 kilometers, my son got his hands on my 2003 9-5 AERO. ( has 300,000 on it now) We replaced the timing chain and related bits, and then added a Stage Two tune (255 hp to 275hp, 270 lb/ft to 330 lb/ft !!) We also found a "new" hood and bumper for it. The originals were very nicely sandblasted. The donor car only had 125,000 km on it, so much better condition. I gave him a quick lesson on the dual action, and he did a bunch of youtube learning, and I set him loose. Only the hood and bumper needed 110-210. The rest of the car got 210, and then M27 on everything. Nice to see him taking pride in his ride!!
There are a couple scratches that need to be painted, so next lesson for him while school is postponed will be scratch repair and wetsanding.
