MT 300 - Help - Purchased Brand New - quit working after the first 45 minutes of use

    Hi,

    Please Help !

    I purchased a brand new MT 300 after countless hours of researching. When the MT 300 arrived, the exterior box was perfect and the factory seal was intact and looked perfect as well.
    Today after opening the box and getting ready to polish for the first time, I polished 1/2 of a hood and 2 doors with the MT 300 with the medium cut polish at only 4800 rpm, then the MT 300 suddenly quit working in less than 45 minutes of use. I am in disbelief and not sure where to turn for help. I have tried plugging in the MT 300 in numerous outlets, changed the brushes as per manual and ensured the prongs on the plug in end have contact with the power supply. This MT 300 is brand new and never dropped and never damaged !

    Any help please ?

        So sorry to hear that. Must be very frustrating!

        Please reach out to our Solutions Hub via live chat on the website or by email at customercare@meguiars.com. Have you inquired with the vendor you purchased the tool from? That may be the quickest/easiest solution. If not this is certainly something that would be covered under warranty but that will involve a different process if you are indeed in Canada.

          Sounds like the power cord needs to be replaced. When I first got mine, it died after using it on 5 vehicles. It actually had the power cord replaced twice by Meguiar's. Once you get it fixed, it will work just fine.
