  • Change in ULW?

I used ULW several years ago and remember it being a creamy white color. Bought a new bottle last month and used it 2 weeks ago. The color is kind of a rusty orange. Use a Griot's DA polisher with a 9004 pad at speed 5 to apply to a 2020 Kia Sorrento with white pearl paint. The ULW went on not very smoothly and the wipe off wasn't as easy as I remember. Has there been a change to ULW? I used 3 in 1 as the base coat before adding the ULW. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi tmax,

There has been a change for a while now with Ultimate Liquid Wax. Instead of the off white in color, it is now brown. I would imagine this is what you are describing with the color. There is no performance difference from the earlier production off white in color batches.

Nick - Thanks for the response. I think I will take a look at how I'm using the new ULW and see if that helps.
