so... long story short, i used compound, but i accidentally did too many passes... have i burned thru, or almost burned thru my clear coat, and is there a way to fix that sandpaper effect, and could i do another compound/polish at sometime later down the road? thanks and stay safe. Also, this is the 1st correction this had. Cause of the problem: I started one pass, then asked him to do 3 more, because i had to go get something... well, he thought i meant 3 passes of 3 passes... so it was went over 10 times.. luckily, it wasnt majorly aggressive and used less pressure... also, what is the best cheap paint thickness guage? thanks!
