Reason - None really, the RUPES White Ultrafine Foam Pad and the CarPro Gloss Pad 5" are very similar.
That could have been a 50/50 choice. In this case the reason I chose the CarPro Gloss Pad? It was handy.

IIRC just over 10,000 miles...

Interestingly enough, I went to the gas station this morning (lowest prices in years!), and one (a different one. Same yr, mk, model, color) was pulling in as I was leaving.
I thought about approaching him and giving him a card but...it was raining and social distancing is a big deal during these times.

I don't know how long this social distancing is supposed to last...My wife has been triyng to get back in the house for two weeks. (GRIN)

What was the user experience for you, using the Rupes coarse foam with the M110? How was the sling? How was it primed if at all?

It was a fun car to do.

1) The Rupes Blue (coarse) is a bit aggressive. If you need to cut this pad does the job. I also like the Rupes Green.
+ Another big favorite of mine is the Lake Country HDO Blue Cutting Pad (it is a less aggressive pad than the Rupes blue)
M110 has very little sling if any... M110 even cuts real good with an LC HDO Orange Foam Polishing Pad.

2) Very little, if any, sling...very minor dusting. IMHO M110 is a lot easier, friendlier, and less aggressive than M105.

3) I did prime the pad before the first pass. During use, I constantly blow out the pad with an air compressor.
