    Is Ultimate Wash and Wax soap and the RED Quik Detailer safe for matte black rims?

    Hey all,

    Tomorrow morning I will be washing my neighbor's Tesla. It is black, with matte black rims. I plan to use the Ultimate Wash and Wax soap, but read somewhere that waxes can cause matte surfaces to turn glossy. I will also follow up with the Deep Crystal Quik Detailer on the paint and wheels. Will soap and the detail spray be okay on the rims? Or should I grab some Gold Class soap to avoid any issues?

    Never mind, I found a link here that discusses what’s safe for matte paint.
