    Help with bonnet

    Hi,
    My son just bought an 80 series landcruiser and the paint on the bonnet looks dirty.
    When it is wet it actually looks worse.
    Does anyone know what has happened to the paint and if there are any products that may help it look better?

    Based on the location, is it possible that the underside of the hood is getting too hot and damaging the paint?

      Tough to say but in general, horizontal surfaces are more likely to become oxidized due to environmental contaminants landing on top & also facing the sun. Have you determined if the paint is single stage or clear coat?
