  • Marks in paintwork

Hi, last August I brought a 2007 Honda Civic Type R,
I gave it a machine polish using m205 and it got rid of all the swirls.
However all over the bonnet, wings, roof, above the doors and a little bit in the sides of the car are these strange marks, looks like something has damaged the clear coat. They are also on the plastic trims. I haven't got a clue what could have caused this? Any ideas?
I'm guessing it can't be sorted and will require a respray, I'm just hoping it won't get worse and start peeling.
It looks great from a distance but close up and in the sun the marks really show, the camera makes them appear worse than they are.

Welcome to MOL. That is referred to as clear coat fracturing. Unfortunately the only fix is a repaint.
