M62 first time user. Excellent shampoo but....

So I finally got my package with M62 and D156 (didnt open D156 yet) from amazon on Thursday so i got a chance to try it out on the Audi earlier tonight with a foam cannon bath followed by 2 bucket and mitt wash. The slickness is something I never before experienced, the mitt just glided over the car effortlessly however after I finished and dried I noticed some deposits on the glass and some spotting down the passenger side. The spotting came off when I went over the paint with UQW and the windshield I just spritz some clean water from my sprayer I keep in the garage and wiped with a glass specific microfiber towel. Was it user error, weather related or both?

Soap dispenser mixed 4oz soap to 26oz of water
Bucket was 2oz of soap to 2 gal of water
Weather was very breezy and cool
Dial on top of cannon was turned almost all the way to the negative (maybe this where the screw up happened)

I mean overall the car looks amazing. The gloss and smoothness can't be beat. Can't wait to see it in daylight in the morning

Sounds good & thanks for sharing. Regarding the light spotting, it doesn't sound like anything too out of the ordinary. Likely water drying leaving a deposit.

Nick so I went ahead and washed my black Nissan in the early morning with the little bit of gold class I had left with just the 2 buckets method and just like with the Audi on Saturday there was a significant breeze and lo and behold the same exact thing happen except that this time the whole car looked like hell. Ultimate polish took care of it all but my answer to the spotting was the wind

Are you letting the foam sit on the car for a while while doing the buckets? Probably giving it a good chance to dry, esp with the wind.

Maybe can foam and rinse, then 2 bucket and rinse.

Or foam and wash panel by panel kind of thing, and rinse once or twice in the middle.

Could be a little strong of a soap ratio as well, depending on what that negative setting ends up being.
