  • Yellow spots after removal of tree buds

    Hello everyone.

I have a problem, after removing the poplar buds, yellow spots remained on the clear coat.
Cleaned up a few days later witch alcohol, after passed UC, but the spots were in plase.

    Can they be completely removed?

Thanks for your help and advice.

Do they come off with a wash?

      Hi Guz.
No, they do not wash off.
I tried a cleaner APC, shampoo, clay and only alcohol removed them.
Initially it was brown spots on the roof and hood.

          Hello, Nick.
          They do not clean completely.
I examined them more closely, the stains look like it's nail polish.
It may be necessary to soak them with solvent?

Try acetone on a microfiber. Clean off with rubbing alcohol immediately after. Then wax.

If it's deeper than that, you may need to wet sand.

Thanks HCAD for the advice, I'll try. There was another thought, leave a sponge with a tar cleaner for a while.
Thank you, I will add a review soon.

For some that might have a similar problem you can try and use scratch swirl remove. Rinse with a strong car soap to take the polish left behind and repeat.

I tried soaking with solvent and IPA, polishing with Scratch X and 3 in 1 Wax, it does not help.
Perhaps when the pollution is fresh it will help.
In my case, there is only one option left - sanding.
