  • Dried latex paint on cloth seats - how to remove?

I bought a beater pick-up which has dried latex paint splotches on the seat. About the size of a quarter and there about 15 of them. I tried goo-gone and it does not seem to do anything.

Would a steam machine help to melt the paint to a goo so I can remove it?

    Any advice? Thanks!

I've had the steam machine work very well on paint before, and then I've had paint in carpet that the steam didn't seem to budge. I know that doesn't help much. Lol. Good news is, the steam is pretty safe unless you hold it in one spot for too long. Probably worth a try if you can borrow one.

You could also try acetone on a hidden spot of fabric to check for colorfastness.

Okay, thanks! I did see Home Depot sells latex paint remover - duh. I will give that a try too. Thanks again!
