Meguiars M21 Sealant vs new M27 Sealant

Hello, been using M21 Sealant as my final step after wax for max paint protection. I see the new M27 sealant is NOT to be used over wax, just use over clean polished paint as the final step. What is the difference between M21 and M27 as a paint sealant.... besides just the application?

M27 is silicon dioxide (SiO2) infused sealant. SiO2 products generally have a better self cleaning effect, gloss and durability. M21 is strictly a polymer sealant (synthetic).

Maybe this is discussed somewhere, but I couldn't find it. Is there a short explanation of the difference between M27 and the Hybrid Ceramic Wax? Thanks.

No. M27 is a SiO2 infused sealant. HCLW contains a little wax hence the hybrid name.

im interested to see how it compared with polymer as thats my go-to for gloss.
