  • #67 one step now what?

So I had some heavy oxidation on my 1999 ski boat. Hit it yesterday with onestep after a good wash. Don't get me wrong it is lots better. I am wondering what the next step is to get back the gloss. So far it was #67 in small areas at a time, Meguiars DA with cutting(burgund) pad. Did 2-3x in worst areas. Getting the dark blue color back but still dull. Should I hit it again with fresh/clean pad with the #67 or is there another product that will get the gloss back? Thanks for any help.

So I started going over the worst spots again with #67 by hand this time. Seems to be getting better. Is there a recommended polish to follow with that will bring some gloss before I seal with a wax? Come on guys help a brother out.

Our D/A Machine for this particular situation & description of how you have approached it, can be a bit slow. Hoping you haven't done whole boat yet, because, you should have much better luck if you hit it with our M771 Marine/RV Heavy Duty Oxidation Scrub first, check this thread out:

thanks Nick unfortunately I have already gone through it once and on the 2nd round by hand which is working pretty good. I did not have the HD oxidation scrub. Should I follow with a particular polish and wax? and will that give me my deep gloss?

Yes, Meguiar's M45 Marine/RV High Gloss Polish a great choice along with our Flagship Premium Marine Wax. Do you have any pictures you could share?
