    Polishing compound change?

Hi all, I'm a new member. I have been using Mequiar's DeepCrystal Polish for some time. I'm almost out, but cannot find this anywhere. I've been reading up on the polishing options and was wondering if Meguiar's Clear Coat Safe Polishing Compound is an equivalent of what I've been using.

Welcome to Meguiar's Online. Deep Crystal Polish has been discontinued for quite some time now. It is a pure polish. Our #7 Show Car Glaze is very similar. Our Clear Coat Safe Polishing Compound is used on an as needed basis to address light swirls/scratches. If you need a mild cleaner/polish, our Ultimate Polish is a more premium option than Clear Coat Safe Polishing Compound & only a few dollars more.

Thanks Nick, I suspected the Deep Crystal was discontinued. But, it's always nice to have that verified. My car doesn't have a swirl problem with the paint. I just like to give it the most lustrous finish I can. And the polishing step adds depth and luster. My routine includes clay bar, then polish, then wax. Can you tell me the difference between your #7 Show Car Glaze and the Ultimate Polish. Price is no concern. I just what what's best for my car.

Ultimate polish will do this, if no correction needed apply no pressure and use it as a glaze - by hand or very soft pad.

I understand. Ultimate Polish contains mild abrasives (Meguiar's Super Micro Abrasive Technology) in addition to polishing oils. This combination of both the mild abrasives & polishing oils will work to truly refine the clarity of the paint. #7 Show Car Glaze is purely oils & conditioners, solely for gloss. If you need the mild refining ability, and ability to improve the actual clarity + added gloss, Ultimate Polish. If the clarity on your paint is perfect, then #7 Show Car Glaze if you wish.

    Does D302 have polishing oils?
    How about M210?
