  • Swirl and scratch removal.

I have a 2002 Corvette with minor scratches and swirls. I used Megs Ultimate Compound with a microfiber pad and got little to no results. Was it because I used micro fiber and not foam, or does this compound just not do much by hand? I believe it was made to use by hand?

    Thanks!

Welcome to MOL. Corvette's of this generation are known to have hard paint. But what you are experiencing is the limitation of what can be done by hand. A polisher will net you better results

What specific polisher can you recommend, man?

100% will need a machine polisher with a compound and a microfiber pad or even a lake country interfaced wool pad. They have hard clear coat. It was slow going for me until I broke out the rotary with a wool pad
