  • How to fix bumped white mark area

    Hi,

There's a large white mark area due to being bumped and other scuff marks in the car's interior plastic side panel (see photo circled red).

Appreciate any idea/product to use to restore it.

    Thank you.

Unfortunately for non painted interior plastic like that, I am not aware of a solution other than some sort of plastic repair kit, where you try to match the color & repaint. I understand this is a very general recommendation but would imagine there is something out there.

      Thanks.

I watched Youtube it seems some folks tried the heat gun method and it seemed to work for minor scratches. Not sure if it works for this bigger bump... .

I am not surprised there are some people having success with alternative methods but it's not something we feel comfortable recommending.

Apply a pro-grade, silicone-free, paint polish, which can found at any auto retailer. Rub the area by hand with a clean white towel. Use circular motions until the touch-up paint is smooth and shiny.
