  • Novice detailer needs recommendations.

I feel I have the proper hand tools:
    Pressure Washer/ Soap Cannon
    Leaf Blower
    Air Compressor
    Proper Brushes
    Micro Towels
Yoga pad to rest my old knees on.

I feel like I getting off track and buying to many products, my goal is to be a stand out "Do it myself" car owner.

What Meguiar's products are a must have? As of today I have purchased:

    X-Press Spay Wax
    Gold Glass
    Surface Prep
    Iron Decon
    Citrus All-purpose
    Hyper Dressing
    Hot Rims Wheel and Tire
    Clay Bars

I will be purchasing: Quick Detailer and window cleaner.

My question is when do I stop? Which products do I have that overlap and I can do without?

Now that I am 60 years of age and my check engine light has turned on, car detailing is my physical therapy and I do not want to burn out.

    Thank you in advance

Well, no need to ever stop....

You would probably want to add some kind of a paint cleaning product... If you want to keep it simple a cleaner/wax like the 3-in-1 is a good product to use once in a while.

Can also buy some knee pads...

I decided to include this in my arsenal. There are cars that are too low, and my technique does not allow me to work well and comfortably in those sectors. So, I prefer to lift the car rather than bend down. Healthier for my back.
