  • Profession quik detailer and protection?

So the retail line 15 quid over here, has the ultimate detailer which they promote adds polymer protection and cleanign agents

I want a one step spray and wipe for door/boot shuts that will add some protection aswell as clean the nooks

What detailer/bulk version is best for this?

Also, can it be used inside as an apc alternative on cars that arent really dirty?

I use Meguiar's D115 Detailer Rinse Free Express Wash & Wax.
This is a concentrate and is usually diluted 4 parts distilled water to 1 part concentrate.
I don't use water on my cars, so D115 is used to wash outside and door jams.

Here is a link to the product introduction thread.

In addition to the D115 in thread above, Meguiar's offers a fine product in their consumer line.
It comes premixed and in individual spray bottles.

D115 is competitive when dilluted 4:1, but I dont think I'd use 19 litres in many years, so its a lot up front

You then have 780ml for the consumer stuff at 15 quid, which is not too bad but still a bit expensive.

Ideally want something in between, concentrate but 1.5 litres of it

Others dilute D115 with as high as 8 parts water.
I find that I prefer about 5 parts water (distilled).
I also spray twice to three times the amount that many others use, as well as using a finer misting sprayer.
I do this to increase the lubricity and protection from scratching.
Other than when claying, I use D115 rather than a detailing spray.

Sometimes, you can make a friend and split the cost of a gallon.
I expect to pick up another D115 gallon this week or during the next Holiday promotions.
