Acrylic enamel paint vs rustoleum oil enamel

Hey everyone...
sorry if this question is noob but its in regards too paint

i want to repaint a golfcart of mine...but i really want a high gloss finish...
Now i know iv seen plenty of guys getting amazing results using rustoleum..
as far as i know the rustoleum is thinned with thinner so its a oil based paint correct?

in my country rustoleum is only available in spray cans so could i used say a regular Water based enamel paint?
not automotive acrylic enamel that requires a catalist etc but regular store baught acrylic enamel?

could regular water based enamel be wetsanded and buffed like oil based enamel can?
will water based enamel have a high gloss finish like oil based after polishing?

i am using a electric sprayer so i am bound too get orange peel hence why im asking...i know for sure ill have too wetsand and polish

I do not have any knowledge to share around your paint questions...I do not imagine you will get much response within this forum either. Apologies. Feel free to ask us about the sanding/compound/polish process.
