Too Much Headlight Sealant?

Hi team

So I bought the Meguiars 2 Step Headlight Kit G2970, I have used this kit before on other vehicles of mine with no issue

This time on my 2010 Impreza STI after a few coats of the sealant after sanding I'm getting a glazed, blurry effect? I did do this outside in the sun is this the issue? is too many coats an issue?

If so how do I remove the coating and start again?

You should be able to use a polish or compound to remove it.

I would use a compound. I removed a head light coating one and it kinda smeared

If you take isopropyl alcohol, dispense a liberal amount onto a microfiber towel, and then rub the face of the headlight, & repeat, this will remove.
