  • Flagship Cleaner Wax too thick

I really like the Flagship Cleaner Wax, but the bottle I bought a year ago has gotten real thick. Right now I'm using it on a 05 Toyota Tacoma that's been repainted with an inexpensive single stage paint job that has oxidized. It is working quite well but it is sooo thick it's hard to get it out of the bottle even with the cap off.

Would it be alright to add some liquid ultimate wax to thin it out to make it eaiser to work with?

I would not add anything to it, it's just the cap on that bottle. Would recommend taking the cap off & dispensing that way. I have had to do it myself also. Think we need to change the cap on that product. I will document this internally.

Thanx for your reply Nick. I've quit using the caps on Meguiar's products a while ago. After having the little holes in the cap get plugged with dried product a couple of times and me squeezing too hard so the bottle cracked, I just got in the habit of removing the caps to use.

In the case of the Flagship Cleaner / Wax it is so thick that I ended up banging the open bottle upside down on my roof to get any out, and then having to squeeze the product out. I squeezed a column about an inch high (to see if it would run, it didn't) but then could **** it back into the bottle so not to use too much.
