Older Porter Cable 7335 and 3 inch pads

I have a PCDA polisher approximately 15 years old. I would like to use 3 inch pads on it. Can I replace the 5 inch sander pad with a 3 inch pad?

You absolutely can.

That tool should have the 5" counterweight. The 6" will vibrate like crazy.

Yes, Meguiar's DBP3 Soft Buff D/A Backing Plate 3" will fit. You can use our 4" D/A Power Pads, 3" D/A Microfiber Discs, or others you may have.
