  • Polish and ceramic coating brand new Porsche Cayenne

    Hello.

I want to detail my new Cayenne before the winter season starts. The paint is in brand new condition and can't find big deflect, occasional small scratches.
I am thinking polish with M110 on a finishing foam or microfiber pad (Lake Country) and then ceramic coating?

Is that the best course of action?
    Thanks in advance.

P.S. I am using Makita DA cordless polisher.

Is there a reason you wish to start with a compound?
If the scratches are really shallow, possibly M210 polish would clean them up.

Ops typo, I meant to say start with M210 exactly, just nice fine polish.

A test spot will be your best friend. As mentioned M210 on a polishing pad is a good start. AS far as a ceramic coating make sure you do the proper prep before application.

I am not familiar with the tool you reference.

I am also not familiar with the tool you are referencing but in general yes M210 Ultra Pro Finishing Polish is a great pre-protection step to remove any light swirls while refining the clarity of the paint & increasing gloss. Make sure to clay if needed prior to M210.
