Help! damage to leather car seats from baby seat cover

Hi all. I'm a newbie here and I have a problem that you all make be able to help with.

I have a 2020 Subaru Outback. I think the seats are real leather (not 100% sure). I was using the Munchkin Brica Baby Car Seat cover to protect the leather from my kids car seat. Well, the seat cover had the opposite effect. Not only did it lead to creases in the leather but the rubber bottoms on the seat appears to have hardened the leather. It physically feels different than other parts of the leather and looks shinier.

Is there anything that can be done to fix this? Or at least mitigate the effects? I

Welcome & unfortunately I am not aware of any remedy for what you are describing or even fully sure of what is going on. The use of a leather conditioner will not hurt. Would recommend talking to a aftermarket leather company & see if they have any suggestions.
