I will edit my response to be more specific.

From what you described your application sounds proper. Preparation, like the use of clay, compound/polish if needed, followed by the included M122 Surface Prep Spray, & two coats of Hybrid Paint Coating an hour apart from each other, with the application itself applied above 60F, not exposing to water for 12-24 hours & ideally 7 days for the full cure.

Regarding applying on a hot day, as long as the panels are not in direct sunlight & you are working in the shade, we do not anticipate any issue, except for maybe a little harder wipe off.

No special recommendations around humidity for this product.

As mentioned on the label, our up to 1+ year paint protection is based on water contact angle lab testing & predictive modeling. It's difficult to get into more specifics without potentially sharing too much, but essentially driving around, washing weekly, and testing certain characteristics, repeat. It has also shown to perform very well in a variety of environments. Regarding UV, in our testing it performs great. A couple of the top variables which can really affect the long term durability of a coating is where the vehicle is being parked & how often it is washed. Try to avoid parking in a spot where it may potentially get constantly abused, for example, next to sprinklers or under trees if it is going to rain. Regarding washing, try to wash weekly. The longer environmental contaminants sit on top the paint surface, the more likely they are going to affect your paint protection, with any product that is being used.

Even if maintaining with our Hybrid Ceramic Detailer, Hybrid Ceramic Spray Wax, or Hybrid Ceramic Wash & Wax, we recommend re-applying Hybrid Paint Coating around once a year for optimum performance. With that said, it can last longer if the vehicle is really kept up well, and additionally, extreme weather or situations, like salt from roads, harsh chemicals, or lack of washing, it may not last as long as well.
So far so good. When it pours rain (and I mean really pours) you can really see the difference on beading of the water on my car vs other cars in the parking lot. Often what makes the car look dirty ends up getting blown off with the beads. Still wash the car once a week at least but it looks cleaner longer which is hard with a black car. It looks like I'm going to get a year out of this easily.

I recently took advantage of the sale by autozone for this product after eyeing it for a while.

I first picked one up on sale at a Pep Boys that was closing and got it for $38. Then the autozone deal came up and i ended up picking 3 more kits.

I would agree that it makes the car that much easier to just rinse off with a pressure washer. the water just seemingly looks allergic to the paint, its not so much that it beads a lot, but it just repels the water. even dew on the hood and roof all but disappear with no traces after a quick drive.

Are there any news when you will export this product to Europe? Can’t find anywhere here from a decent seller. Nothing on eBay, Amazon, Meguairs UK etc. or I’m looking in the wrong places?

    3 questions on this product
    - My car was painted 3 months ago and I just did a full prep with UC/UP , my next step was going to be either M305 or M26 should I skip and go straight to the coating ?
    - It will be 2 weeks before it's shipped to me any additional prep that will be needed on my car since it will be almost 3weeks since polish
    - How is the shine/Depth compared to M26/M305 ?

    Thanks

Would go straight to the coating. Its been long enough to not need M305. As long as you don't put a wax or sealant on a wash with a soap that contains no gloss enhancers or waxes would be all you need. The kit includes the panel wipe.

A majority of the shine comes from the polishing step.

With this being on clearance at auto stores, I guess this will be joining paint protect 365 and ultimate fast finish. I thought UFF was excellent. I am 100 % Meguiars fan , but they keep getting me hooked with great "protection products" only to take them away!! It's just one big tease !!! Franco

I was looking at the Autogeek site and notice in the link below an announcement that M788 would be coming soon: https://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-m7...t-coating.html

Is this just an out-of-date page? Or (hopefully) is Meg's coming out with its own true SiO2 coating?
