  • New car initial treatment

Just acquired a new Mazda CX-9 and there is a scratch that the dealer will be repairing. Following the repainting how long should I wait to add wax to that area? I was going to apply an initial coat but might as well wait until I can do the entire vehicle (clay-Ultimate Polish/#7-Ultimate Paste Wax).

You can skip M7. It is more beneficial for single stage paint rather than clear coat.

We recommend waiting 60-90 days before waxing fresh paint to be absolutely sure the paint has had time for fully cure.
