  • How do I polish the plastic center pillars / covers?

I have an 2019 F150 and would like to know how to polish the black plastic center pillars. These are the glossy black plastic covers that are between the front a rear side windows like in the pic below. Mine are really glossy though, and they have very fine scratches on them and look all smudged when in direct sun. I have hit them with Megs ultimate polish, but they still aren't great like new.

Some of these are matte and polishing them will turn then gloss. If yours are gloss, you should be good to do. If they are plastic I'd recommend Megs plastic polish. You will need to work it by hand for awhile. Otherwise, you can use a DA or rotary with a small pad. After you get it looking good, you may want to consider some paint protection film.

For glossy b pillars, not like the ones you have pictured, we would recommend using a mild cleaner/polish designed for automotive paint. Are you working by hand or machine?
