Swirl/Scratch Removal Advice

Hi! Can you please give me some advice on how to remove swirl marks and light scratches(here and there ) over the whole paint? I want something that s not too aggressive because my car is kind of new( 2017 mercedes gle suv with black paint) i want to do this whole process by hand,any advice on what to buy and how to do it would help,thanks in advance !

Meguiar's 5 Step Paint Care Cycle

When working by hand, most of the time we prefer using a soft foam applicator pad like our Meguiar's W0004 Soft Foam Applicator Pad (for applying). For removal of product residue such as a compound, polish, or wax, a microfiber towel is recommended, like our X2020 Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel.

From my exp, a scratch is very difficult to remove by hand with Ultimate Compound. It is much better to combine with a DA Polisher, otherwise, I sometimes just feel waste of time.

I would agree, depending on how resilient the clear coat is, and how severe the scratches are, it can be much more challenging & time consuming of a task by hand.
