This is a 2020 accord sport. Metallic gray color. Noticed this dark is spot the other day. Thought it was a glare but it’s not. Any idea what it could??

Hi this looks like it could be either a aftermarket "blend" repair. You can use a paint thickness gauge to compare this area vs the others. It also could be missing metallic from the factory, at least, this is what we could tell from the picture.Nick Winn

I had an ingot Silver 2015 Taurus I had purchased new. The front bumper had spots like that. I always assumed it was irregularities in the metallic or a "thin" spot.
Never verified, but I noticed other cars with paint marks like that on them from time to time.Comment
