G100 Question

Greetings All. New member here. I have a G100 that I purchased in '99 I believe. It's been a while since I've used it but just got a 2016 Tacoma that needs some love. My question is about the backing plate. It's 5 inches across. I'm hoping to be able to use the 5 inch polish and finish pads without have to purchase a new backplate. I think the 6 inch would hang over a bit. I thought I would ask you folks before I order. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to Meguiar's Online. We would imagine you have our W67DA Backing Plate (black & yellow in color), and yes, you can use this with our Meguiar's 5" Soft Buff D/A Foam Discs, DFC5,DFP5,DFF5.
