After the car paint is waxed or after using a sealant such as M27, the water droplets disappeared after washing the car with a car washing liquid such as G7164 after a week, and the water becomes flaky. What is the situation?

Re: Excuse me
Before using the sealant, thoroughly wash the paint, paint cleaner, use clay, and degreasing agent. Then use M27 sealant. But I found that many friends also encountered this kind of problem. This is also the case with other car washes! But I know the sealant is still there! Does the car wash liquid have a certain ingredient to cover the effect of the sealant?

It might be a possibility the "degreasing agent" you are using could be leaving behind a residue on the paint which is not allowing M27 to proper adhere. Thoughts? Are you ever seeing the water beading characteristics from the M27 to confirm it is there?Nick Winn

Re: Excuse me
Thank you very much for Nick’s reply, I am sure that I have perfect water droplets after using M27, but after washing the car a week later, when I started to wash with water, I also confirmed that it has good water droplets and hydrophobicity, but after washing with gold shampoo The water droplets have indeed disappeared in the future, and the same is true for other brands of shampoo. There is no problem after pa prewashing. This problem occurs only after washing the car with two buckets of water. Many friends also encountered this problem for me, and I really don’t understand. So I want to ask! Thank you。Do I need to clean after using degreaser? I use M122 for degreasing now. Do I need to clean it again after degreasing?

Re: M27 PRO Hybrid Ceramic Sealant Questions
Switch to a different soap. Gold Class seems to mask the properties of a sealant like M27 and in some cases coatings. Report back if the water behavior returns if you use a different soap.

Re: M27 PRO Hybrid Ceramic Sealant Questions
x2 with Guz about switching soap. Could be the "conditioners" in the gold class leaving a little something behind. I'm in the pnw as well, and I'll actually use a wash and wax soap over top of a ceramic sealant to reduce the water beading and encourage more water sheeting with the "dont like it, just wait 10 minutes weather" we have up here. Ive noticed after a freak shower mid-day my car will have beads sitting on the paint for hours magnifying the sun's rays while all the unmaintained cars around are dry and water free again. A soap that leaves something behind will help with that, but after a few days of steady rain though the beading will always come back after the minimal layer left behind by the soap has washed off.

Re: M27 PRO Hybrid Ceramic Sealant Questions
I typically don't like to say "Oh it's fine for me" as it's not helpful to the OP.
But I've used Gold Class Shampoo on ceramic coated cars, as well as my own two cars with M27 and found it doesn't mask the beading properties.
Could it be the water itself? Mineral deposits? Not sure
