  • Best product for silver car

Hey all I have a 2007 Audi A4 2.0T I got for a good price with only 150,000km. The only problem is that the paint seems to have been redone by somebody who is less than professional haha. Silver as it is doesnt seem to give that nice shine that I love so much, but am wondering what the best megs product would be to get the most out of it. I have the m26 paste wax and the gold class paste as well as the hybrid ceramic spray (wish they sold the hybrid ceramic wash in Canada) but am wondering if there is anything better for silver out there? Let me know thanks.

People tend to pick the synthetic products for silver, like the Ultimate Wax.

But really most of it will come down to prep work. Do you do some kind of iron/tar remover, clay, paint cleaner steps?

I would agree with Murr1525, the preparation of the paint prior to applying protection will be much more important for changing the appearance of the paint, i.e. increase gloss, clarity, removing defects.

If you have not seen already, the below article would be worth a look:

Going to agree that your prep is going to be far more important.

With that said, I recently just coated my wife's White Acura MDX with the Megauirs Hybrid Paint Coating, and it gives it that thick clear coat look, and for a white car it really has a ton of gloss and shine.

If you don't want to do the coating route, then you probably can't go wrong with something like M27 or Hybrid Ceramic Wax
