Greetings ... first time post here.
I've got a `99 Trans Am and the front and rear bumpers have got some clear coat peeling. I was able to remove the flaking clear and sand the edges where you can't catch a nail on it. So what I have now is a hazy clear coat as well as a dull base coat. I was able to get some shine out of the base coat by buffing with some of the ultra compound. I'm just not sure if I'm at that point where I should strip it and just paint it or buff it all out.
