Is this product safe to use while vehicle is on asphalt and can it be used to clean floor mats?

It is probably a good idea to wet the area with water first & then be sure to rinse thoroughly. Asphalt is much more porous than concrete.

No not recommended for any other application besides wheels & tires. Check out our DRTU Citrus Power Cleaner Plus or Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner.

The mats are heavy rubber. Stock Chevy truck matt. Does that make a difference

Yes, would recommend DRTU Citrus Power Cleaner Plus, our M3916 Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner, our D101 All Purpose Cleaner mixed at 4:1 or 10:1, or any other mild, automotive specific, all purpose cleaner.
